Went to a job interview, the interviewer thought I was 17 but I'm 16, do i still have a chance at the job?

The interview went pretty good, the guy said he was looking for 3 people. I dressed nicely and answered the general questions at first like tell me about yourself etc. Then somewhere along the interview i mentioned that I'm 16 then the employer said he thought I was 17 cause I was entering senior year. He said he could talk to his district manager to see if he can make an exception and he'll call me back if anything happens. Do I still have a chance at this job? I really hope there's an exception, I think I made a good impression on him too.
