Please help relationship helpp?

Okay so basically my ex boyfriend and I had to break up because of the distance apart(5 hours) and this year is our senior year. We both still have strong feelings for eachother its to the point where I might go to a closer college down where he lives, I wouldn't go to the same college cause I want to do what's best for me. Anyways but until then we can date other people and everything I am still like in love with him, he's my first true love and its just a lot harder on me. I know he's talking to other girls and stuff and I want to always text him but it seems like I'm annoying him and I should just wait for him to text me. I don't know what to do in this situation if anyone has any suggestions I'm willing to listen, thanks!
